Which leads me to theorize that Calliope did the same thing.
Remember that we have another version of Calliope somewhere, one that succeeded where OUR Calliope failed. This Calliope could very have done the same thing that Caliborn did.
Let’s think about it.
Calliope loves Trolls… most likely, where Caliborn is observing the B2 universe, Calliope would probably observe Universe A. More specifically, she would be observing Universe A2.
Calliope is the Muse of Space.
Who could Calliope have “possessed” like Caliborn did?
So Calliope finds a way to possess the Black Queen, causing her to embody Space. It is implied that Snowman is the Trolls’ universe because if a deal she made with Doc Scratch.
And who is Doc Scratch? Lil Cal.

I’m not entirely sure why Doc Scratch would do such a thing. All that we know for sure is that Doc Scratch is genetically related to Lil Cal, and Lil Cal seems to have a mind of his own. So he may have his own schemes. But there’s another point that might explain it better.
Calliope is the Muse of Space… meaning that she is the most passive of all classes. She may very well have allowed Doc Scratch to recruit Snowman for reasons that aren’t clear to us right now. We know that the death of Snowman, in conjunction with the destruction of Universe B resulted in the creation of the Green Sun, which powers all First Guardians, including Doc Scratch. It could be that Calliope allowed the Lord English (and his henchmen) to facilitate the creation of the Green Sun, giving them a temporary victory, only for it all to turn in her favor in the end. We can’t be sure of that yet unfortunately.
Caliborn uses a puppet (Lil Cal) to turn Jack Noir into his puppet.
And Calliope uses a puppet (Doc Scratch) to turn the Black Queen into her Puppet.
This explains their black romance. This explains how Snowman got involved with the Felt and is now working for Lord English.

Now Spades has a robot eye so that he can’t be possessed by Lil Cal (thanks to Snowman), which may reinforce the theory going around that Striders aren’t susceptible to Cal’s powers due to their shades.
Calliope and Caliborn are locked in such a way that one cannot be present whenever the other is present….
Snowman has to die for Lord English to appear in the Trolls’ Universe.
And who’s dead in the kids’ universe? The Black Queen. Lord English sends the Condesce to kill the Black Queen so that he can enter that session.
So, in short… B2 Universe’s Jack Noir is Lord English, and A2 Universe’s Black Queen is actually Calliope.
